Welcome to the Crofters Fishing Club
Club rules.
- All N.W.W.A. and venue rules must be adhered to.
- All members when joining agree to abide by the rules set out below
- Pegs to be a min. of 4 mtr. apart (Where poss.) and all members will draw pegs
- Members can change peg if just reason can be shown (At co-ordinators approval)
- Pegs to be drawn 45 minutes before match.
- Ground baiting (Where allowed) and loose feeding can be done prior to to the match start but no hooked bait until start is called.
- No more than one rod or pole to be in the water at any one time.
- All fish (Except Sticklebacks and Pike) must be weighed.
- No spinning or trawling allowed.
- Committee will not discuss any club matter on the bankside.
- Monthly meeting to be held on the first Wednesday of each month.
- Members will draw peg first before any guest.
- Seasons trophies: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, A.C.M. winner, heaviest fish, & Achievement award. (Achievement award decided by previous years winner)
- Alan Cross Memorial (A.C.M.) trophey will be fished the closest match to 1st August
- Members are asked to respect other members, and to move round suitably.
- On all club matters the Chairman can have a second and deciding vote.
- If a member casts in another's swim he'll be warned in the 1st instance, penalised 3 points in the 2nd, thereafter disqualified incurring 10 penalty pts. Members breaking club rules can be disqualified at the committee's discretion, adding 10 penalty pts.
- Any member receiving any physical assistance shall forfeit his catch, but advice or loan of tackle is permitted.
- 1st= 1 point, 2nd= 2 points etc. The lowest points at the end of the season wins.
- Four man committee to be elected every three years.
- Fishing starts on 'All In' shout and ends on 'All Out', if you have a catch you are then allowed a further 20 minutes to land or release the catch.
